She is working on a silk embroidery in duotones, following the

drawing on the small picture. Every piece is hand-sewn & takes a lot

of work & a strain on the eyes, I think. A large elaborated piece

can take them up to 6 months to a year to complete. Thanks for

Excellent image, Cherlyn. I like the concentration of the girl, her hand, and, mostly, the thimble -you may laugh-. But some family hairlomms came to my mind when I have seen your beautiful picture. Thanks for sharing. Regards.

Very nice photo, Cherlyn. Great control of light and beautiful composition. I've been in these workplaces many times (or at least similar to this), and I know how difficult it is to get light like this, not to mention there's no room to get the right angle, yet you did a wonderful job.
