Hi Sondra, this is a beautiful picture. I'm not familiar with digital IR but I have experimented a lot with film IR. One of the challenge I find, is to get the right exposure that will give the perfect grain (not too much , but some). Have you ever experimented with adding some grain in some of your IR picture (not necessarily this one)? Take care, MC.

Marie, I have not experimented with IR grain, but love the digital camera.

I love digital too! I got a D200 in May and use it all the time. Now I have to figure out how to do IR with it. Thanks for responding to my comment.

Such a beautiful image! I've tried an IR filter, but what I shot just came out a big mess. Maybe I'll pull it out and try again, your work certainly inspires me to try.

very good composition and tones of color...the only thing tha's a little bodering is that external shadow of the photo in stead of a frame...

Wonderful image, very well composed.

I love the atmosphere in this. It seems hazy in the distance, but you've got good light on the subject. What is the track-like thing? Is that where water would have run? (Please excuse my ignorance!)

Lou Ann, water is running through the trough, guess it's hard to see though.
