I really like the concept of this photo, the simplicity in the reflection and rocks and lighting. But to be completely honest it doesn't entirely do it for me. I would like to see the light on the rocks above a bit darker as well as the sky (graduated nd filter?). Also, the lake horizon line looks tilted. You've got a very nice portfolio, keep shooting!

Thanks Greg! Here is another photo of the same scene. Less tilted and darker rocks on top. The brightness is a compromise; either top is too bright or bottom too dark and I didn't want to alter the photo's brightness on top/bottom. (Except for the sky the photo is unmanipulated;

the orginal sky is about this color almost and unstructured although with a gradient getting brighter on top as can be seen in the reflection. Unfortunately, the slide film developing laboratory delivered the film with horizontal traces of dust particles apparently caused by improper work before drying the film. so I "killed" the sky with a fill function using an "average" sky color to compensate for development job trouble. afterwards I found out that the film can be cleaned with soft cloth, but I did not yet rescan the film; I don't believe this photo is worth the effort.)
