Another wonderful IR shot, Sondra. The tree trunks, the leaves, the dark color of the water in the river ... it all brings together a lovely composition! Do you usually print these IR shots? What is the usual progression of some of the IR images that you share with us?

Yes, Lou Ann, my husband has printed and framed some for my mother. The print comes out of the camera a dark pink. I desatuate, then work with it as a regular b/w image. The sepia tone is one of the last things I do.

Sondra, You are one of the few people I've ever known that seem to really understand how to compose. I'm thinking you do it without thinking about it......I probably don't need to tell you this, but please save the unedited versions to disc or whatever you can save them on. Please believe me when I say your images are far to good to ever delete.......Jim

Sondra you have a gift. many of your landscape interpretations are beautifully crafted. I have devoted a vast amount of time trying to find landscapes that move me... here i am. I rarely photograph a landscape myself - it's not in me. Some of your pieces are remarkable. If your printing skill is as developed as your vision i imagine the textures become energized.

Sondra - busy week ... sorry I didn't come back to this until just now. Thank you for answering my question. I have been thinking that if you merely take these images, share them with us, and then have them sitting around on discs ... well, it's a waste. :-) I hope that you also will enter them in some art shows or do some contests or something! They truly are in a different league than most other photographers' work.
