ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted January 12, 2002 I like this. I would just remove the bright spots at the top and the left side. Has an etheral effect to it. One can almost feel the sun hitting her face Link to comment
mike_isler 0 Posted January 22, 2002 I disagree with Ken's comment about removing the bright spots. I think this is a nice characteristic of Holga images, and I'm astounded that you got such a beautiful photo out of the Holga. Good job! Link to comment
mgvaughan.com 0 Posted January 25, 2002 Is this a shot of a painting under glass? I enjoyed your portfolio as well. Link to comment
babatunde martins 0 Posted January 26, 2002 "..painting.." No its a photograph taken with a Holga toy camera. Holga cameras are actaully quite wonderfull though many light leaks and inconsistant lenses keep this camera from being used as a tool that you can actually say you had control over. It is the inconsistancy though that makes this camera a joy to use . The images are 6x6cm still the same as my hasselblad and I enjoy using it just as much. I would need photoshop to get the same effects hehehe Link to comment
grizzly_b 0 Posted February 4, 2002 almost perfect... though something is not quite... Link to comment
gwen_barlee1 0 Posted February 8, 2002 disquieting and dreamy, surreal, but we've all experienced that moment Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted February 10, 2002 Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Your other work is incredible, too. Lannie Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted May 14, 2002 This is a lovely photo. It somehow reminds me of Dutch Masters paintings. p.s. Thanks for your considerate attention and compliments on my portfolio. Hanna Link to comment
hunter_yeary 0 Posted July 27, 2002 This is one of the greatest photos I've ever seen....and I've seen a lot of them. You are truly gifted and I enjoy all of your stuff. For what ratings are worth, I just can't believe that this didn't get higher. I have photos that pale embarassingly in comparison to this that have scored higher. Strange world. Link to comment
peter_meisterle 0 Posted September 15, 2002 This one has a very homy mood. Regarding the spots I agree with Ken. Regards. Link to comment
