Ummmm... it's not a profile, neither a 3/4 portrait. It's something in between and maybe that's why it looks kinda akward to me. To be honest, everywhere I look in the image, my eyes then go straight to the nose. The nose just pops out; at least for me.

I think that if she had rolled her eyes to look at the camera, that this would have created focus in this image. Also, the main light, that is shining on her face and ear is a little too harsh. Had this been softened or placed a bit further away, I think it would have created a better effect. I hope that this is of some use.
