ndnbrunei 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Excellent - sharp, very good tonal range, interesting subject. The post (?) on the RHS is a little distracting - is it worth cropping it out, or do you think its absence will upset the balance of the photo? Link to comment

harnstrom1 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Another great portrait of Don Cleto.B&W tones, framing, background and composition are excellent.Charisma in an expressive shot. Very well done J O Link to comment
michaelging 1 Posted November 4, 2006 I too like the framing and movement that the outstreached arm and hand give to the photo. I thought about the crop on the right side but I think the wall anchors that side of the photo, I would not crop it. It does look like you burned a little on the hightlight setting on the clouds and to me that gives them a flat, dull look. Its a very good photo, that I would have been proud to have taken. thanks for sharing it. Link to comment
jorge 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Fer, Fine work that is yours (as you well know), I believe that you need to be more critical of some aspects. I really think that the extreme DOF detracts from the image and -specially the lower left area, where the background meets the hand- could benefit a lot from a shallower depth of field. If the image were mine, I would have faked a large aperture and a forefocus technique by means od a very tight mask and a gaussian blur resembing an out of focus effect. As for ratings; buddy, you're above that... Link to comment

Link to comment
Me gusta mucho. Link to comment

Alucinante Link to comment
Enhorabuena! Beso Link to comment
Link to comment
Link to comment
