davidmccracken 2 Posted November 1, 2006 I never knew what watch the birdie meant until I watched this birdie! I think he looks annoyed because I was watching him eat. Feedback appreciated! Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted November 2, 2006 I must say, David, you've outdone yourself with this one. This is truly something that I wish I could do. Bravo. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted November 2, 2006 Christine, There was a certain amount of luck in getting this. However, I am very thankful that I did. I managed to get a few more. I may upload them later. Jim, Much of what I said to Christine applies to you. Thanks a lot. Michael, That's the idea. It's good to get feedback. Thanks. Al, Thanks too! Jim, Kind words coming from a master such as yourself. If you are ever in Alaska I am sure you will have many chances to photograph these birds and I am sure you would get great results. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted October 7, 2009 I agree with your comment about evaluations, giving and getting! I "traveled" a bit in your files and was attracted to this one, not only a great bird ( we don't have a lot of them here) but very good timing and composition.I like the strong accentution of the trunk vs, the delicate shallow BG. It is very quiet tone in general ,so its beak and feet are adding the color points. Very majestic bird ,and execution.. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 7, 2009 The are quite majestic birds. My trip to Alaska was one that happened at the last minute. It was such a beautiful place I was forced to buy another camera having not packed my own. How sad is that? I appreciate you stopping by. Thanks. Link to comment
