ANy thought? Does the background thing distract too much? I have

another version where I blew out the background with a levels layer

(kind of a high key look) that lowers its importance. Thoughts?

As it's uaual with street photography, in B&W would work better. Certainly, the background element it's a pity.

I agree with Alberto that the B & W especially in this case would work better. Sometimes it is difficult to block out the B Ground and in this case is a bit distracting, however, you captured a good expression and I like the angle.

 

I futzed only a bit with P S but I only changed to B & W to Gray scale and cloned a bit of the BGround. See what you think?

Yes, I'll get in line and weigh in for the B&W version also. The color version doesn't obtain enough hue to justify not going B&W.
