claire 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Generations of loss - S21 prison museum, Cambodia. Yet another haunting image taken in this sobering museum which documents many of the people lost to Pol Pots regime in the late 1970's. Almost all of the people held at S21 were later taken to the extermination camp at Choeung Ek, and were executed. During the first part of 1977, S21 claimed a terrifying average of 100 victims per day. These eerie photographs pepper the walls. It was a gruesome and compelling place.
