martinforget 0 Posted October 31, 2006 A 2 hour hiking, and a 3 hours job in photoshop. Photo was treated for a large print, sky and landscape were treated separatley to obtain the right hues on each layer. Did some croping at 1 pixel for the horizontal line and the three on the right end, that was mostely the longest part. Thanks for your comments, tricks and ratings. Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted October 31, 2006 Aside from the lovely colours and beautiful scenery, I love the depth you created in this image. I love the dark gray colour under every cloud and maybe that helps the flow as my eye searches to go to the horizon. It's like I'm there. Excellent work! Kim. Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted November 11, 2006 Looks very clean Martin and tack sharp. Try putting in the black border last, after using the sharpening tool, otherwise you can see the halo. Link to comment
martinforget 0 Posted November 11, 2006 Yeah sorry about that, I did all the treatement for a large print. After that i have "schrunk" the photo at 72, sharpning always go down, so i did another one. Good observation. I'll correct it later. Link to comment
keeperofthefire 0 Posted March 3, 2007 This is what photography is all about, working to get a sweet shot! First your legs to get there, then your fingers to get it where you want it. I keep waiting for the clouds to start moving, and the wind to start blowing through the trees! A beautiful day to be alive! Congrats, Charles Link to comment
