Guest Guest Posted November 1, 2006 Very interesting composition. The walls to the upper right look over exposed. A bit more detail there would be great. Overall, good shot. Link to comment
erin molly fitzpatrick 0 Posted November 1, 2006 Hi Claire! I love the angle of this shot. For the constructive comment youve asked for... I think you should try and get more detail in the stained glass at the end. It seems like everything is leading my eye there and not quite catching it. I still think this is an amazing shot though. Good job! -e Link to comment
dusty2004 0 Posted November 1, 2006 Hello Claire. I like this. You have chosed an unconventional view, I commend you on that. Most people just follow the line if you know what I mean. Never think to take a different approach or do their own thing. Having done a few of these myself I appreciate the difficulty with light. The difference between the light in the church and actually coming in through the windows can be greater than 10 stops. Nothing can handle that, except the eye. Given that, I think you have done an excellent job with the light. My only suggestion in regards to overcoming the extreeme light is to photograph this scene on an overcast day. But then will you get the same effect, no. It is just a thought. You have done well. ( I know you didn't want an ego boost, still feels good though). Cheers. Link to comment
timages 0 Posted November 1, 2006 Excellent Composition, (sorry about boosting your ego, if I have?) but I like it. With such a great shot I would have done some bracketing on the exposure. Link to comment
