Great. It has something magic... This kind of photos are usually seen perhaps in "digital alterations", but guess this one is "real". Wide tonality adds its power and IMO also fact it is a bit busy. Admire also your IR-work. No ratings. Take care, a s l a

You're home! :-) And you greet us with another fabulous IR image! I like how the bottom of the tree is so exaggerated. Wonderful detail in the leaves and textures in the bark of the tree.

This photo gives me inspiration on how to photograph some other cypress trees in Georgia. Loved your photos of the Tybee Lighthouse and St. John's Cathedral from the square at night.

Nice take on this subject - the perspective works well as does the fairly busy image.

 

One small critical note... It seems to me that the clouds in the center are burned out. Any chance of getting back some detail there?

Amazing shot, Sondra! The massive but sinuous shape of the tree trunk is excellent and I like the view through to the background. What focal length was this taken at?
