Kim, I know nothing about insect macro shots, so I'll just cover the three latest images with this one comment. I love each of them, but this one is probably the nicest. They're truly elegant images, and give us a glimpse of these elegant creatures. I like this one because it is the most delicate of the three. Beautiful work you do, Kim!

Did you chase this one around? Wonder, I'd like to see a tight crop down to the head and body. Nice photo Kim! Dave

One of your best. Excellent overall composition. I really like the way the foreground shapes and colors complement the foreground objects. The lighting is perfect. Very nice.

Very nice, Kim, the dark background seems to work well here and the backlit, translucent wings.

For some reason, we have hundreds of butterflies here in S Texas this time of year. It wasn't difficult to find a butterfly to get a shot of. I'll see how they are again this weekend and may get some more pictures. I noticed most of them were kind of battered, where their wings weren't perfect.
