garydad 0 Posted October 22, 2006 Stunning shot Kim. Perfect DOF. The white in the background behind the butterfly adds a smokey, magical touch. Congrats. Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted October 24, 2006 Kim, I know nothing about insect macro shots, so I'll just cover the three latest images with this one comment. I love each of them, but this one is probably the nicest. They're truly elegant images, and give us a glimpse of these elegant creatures. I like this one because it is the most delicate of the three. Beautiful work you do, Kim! Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted October 25, 2006 Did you chase this one around? Wonder, I'd like to see a tight crop down to the head and body. Nice photo Kim! Dave Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted October 27, 2006 For some reason, we have hundreds of butterflies here in S Texas this time of year. It wasn't difficult to find a butterfly to get a shot of. I'll see how they are again this weekend and may get some more pictures. I noticed most of them were kind of battered, where their wings weren't perfect. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted October 28, 2006 an exquisite jewel, Kim. Love the puffs of clouds behind, too. Link to comment
