pjmeade 12 Posted October 22, 2006 This farm is on the edge of Exmoor. I saw it when it had some helpful lighting, but unfortunately, I still had the camera on iso-800 from some earlier indoor shots. What do you think, have I rescued the image, or does it get filed under B for bin? Link to comment
Pa-cha 0 Posted October 22, 2006 Hi Peter, This one is wonderfull. I like the clouds running in the sky... Congrats for colours and composition. Do you use a polariser ? Pascal. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted October 22, 2006 Peter, I have done that forgetting-to-reset-the-ISO thing too. But this looks pretty good to me at this scale. The house is nicely placed in the composition with the diagonal lines and the sky is very good. Exmoor is a beautiful part of the country and this captures the spirit of the place well. jkwiatkowski 0 Posted October 22, 2006 I like the colors and the atmosphere of the shot. Technically, it is quite good. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the illusion that the image is tilting to the left. I wish the bottom hegde-line and the horizon were more paralel to the bottom line of the photograph. But this is only my two cents. Nice capture, anyway. Regards, Janusz Link to comment

chrisspracklen 0 Posted October 22, 2006 Nice one, Peter! I like the diagonals and the white of the farmhouse makes a nice contrast to the greens of the fields and trees. I think I may have shot this same farm ~ I'll have to check back in my archives! Best regards, Chris Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted October 23, 2006 Nice landscape. I think it would be better with less sky. Link to comment
