stephen hazelton 3 Posted October 22, 2006 I like the shot and the idea. Now, it does look like that moon actually is lapping over the palm frond. I'd have to do some research, but suspect the tire, the hairstyle, and maybe the lady's shoes are not old-fashioned. Link to comment

mmene 0 Posted October 22, 2006 Thanks for your nice comments. I have to say that Stephen remarked some interesting technical points but he lost the magic of the moment. That shot is from the general PROVA of a Theatrical event, with Rose Tatoo of Tennessee Williams. This is a very sentimental and tender scene by my opinion. By my opinion also, Stephen lost the forest looking to the tree. I do not mean that my photography is good or not.You decide. I mean the whole sensation of the moment. I publish this photo of the final scene. Link to comment
stephen hazelton 3 Posted October 22, 2006 Sorry, Michael, I don't think I missed the forest, either. I was assuming this was a set-up shot specifically for the picture, in which case minor items like the hair and the tire might or might not be worth trying to make more realistic. If it's a play set, those items just wouldn't matter unless they're glaringly out of place, which they're not. The lighting, the expressons, the composition are all great, and there wasn't anything much to say about those. Link to comment
syalphotography 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Very romantic capture Michael, very nostalgic in black and white and a very apt title for the same! Best regards! Link to comment
