juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted October 24, 2006 You seemed to have caught it in ALL of it's glory! the diagonal line of this image is...so intrigueing! remenber that first PS job I did for you? this one temps me...Are you having fun with that 20 D? Juan Link to comment
bjcarlton 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Oh, go ahead! You know you can't resist a little PS. I've got to say I really like the 20D. I have to remind myself I have other cameras to use. The 20D does pretty much everything I want any camera to do, and it's easy to carry around. Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted October 25, 2006 what lenses do you have for it?...I have ...90 tilt...24-105 L sweeeeet one! 16-35...100-400 L all Canon... I have given my well used and abused 28-135 to my girl who has my ex 10D....I agree I carry my EOS 3 around in the same bag but it's a struggle to get it out sometimes...the closest photo lab (besides my darkroom ) is 50 miles away...I like to shooting in raw color and converting to B&W while its in the raw....since I am still useing PS7 I convert with the Canon program that came with the camera...slow but it works... Welcome to the future? Juan Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Oh...I thought the crop...and the tones were pretty good on this one but I thought the stems were a little distracting...and the incredible deep blue sky...IMHO needed just a little boost...hope you know this was done with respect....Enjoy your new camera..and thanks for posting this one!Juan Link to comment
bjcarlton 0 Posted October 26, 2006 Hmm; the trees are a bit different ('cause of the lack of gravity) in El Cajon! But back to gear: some pretty impressive glass you have for that camera. I've got a couple of non-L zooms; 28-85 and 24-105, if I recall correctly; a 50 f/1.4, a 35 f/2, a 20-35 f/4.5 (?), and, just recently, a 70-200L f/4, which I got for photographing cross country meets. That, of course, is in addition to the 10D and a whole bunch of film gear, both 35 and medium format. And then there's the darkroom gear. It's kind of sick, when you think about it. Makes me queasy, anyway. Link to comment

bjcarlton 0 Posted October 29, 2006 Many people have called you a genius (and I'm sure other things, too) but now I'm sure of it. Your latest effort distills my work to its essence. And besides, how did you expect those leaves to stay up there without any stems? Link to comment
