All of your images are beautiful Vallery, but I think I like this one the most. The quality of the lighting compliments the composition perfectly. And I especially like that you chose to do it in B&W... it wouldn't have had the same impact in color. Great photo!

I appreciate the kind comment. It really is my first attempt at making the water look like ...er.."cotton candy" (I think that is what people call it).

The sun was hitting one side and it was beautiful looking at it but you are right the color shot did not do it justice. I love nature's offerings and want to learn more about landscape shots, etc. (Makes a great excuse to travel) Thanks so much AGAIN for the comment.

Very serene and peaceful. This is the type of place you want to be able to sit and think now and again.

My only complaint is the leaf lying on the rock, right at the bottom of the frame in the middle. It spoils the dreamy almost monochrome look of the scene, and could maybe do with a bit of hue/colour cloning from the surrounding rock?

Otherwise, lovely.
