The Monks' Fishing House is perched over the River Cong's crystal-

clear water at Ashford in Co. Mayo, Eire. Forbidden to use rod and

reel, the clever monks rigged fishing lines to a bell in the house.

When the lunch bell rang, they knew their supper had arrived.
