Great shot. This is the type that I aspire to take. There is room for improvement but I can't quite put my finger on it. I like the tonal balance. I'm not sure about the cropping. I tend to like portraits more close up. Great shot though. 6/5

A very nice meaning to the life of this woman. My interpretation of this picture is that she was sitting at the backyard of her house, during late summer or in between the interchange weather of the summer/ authumn or late spring/ early summer. ( The clothing was thin, telling us that it wasn't cold )She was relaxing with her dog after presumeably a day of work or house chores being completed.A timely rest before she proceeded to start her cooking and preparation for dinner for her family.A very meaningful shot to me depicting the simple life of an Italian lady. With regards to the composition, I would have the top part of the picture cropped so that the viewers would feel a more impactful surrounding of the old walls of the living environment.
