Hi Gary loved the last image you posted "Grotowskian Masks"!!! anyway to business at hand....i would'nt go as far to say "sloppy" i would say that for sure you should crop the reflection at the bottom of the picture out..... and there is alot of noise in the clouds and sun rays, i dont know if you have added saturation and contrast but if you have i think you may have added a little to much..just crop it tighter will make the world of difference..like your portfolio some interesting images and keep up the good work

Matt, I find you pretty ironic... However I shall explain myself. In my opinion, if you want to work with silhouettes, you got to make them stand out from other unimportant/unwanted silhouettes, so that everybody who looks at the photo can distinguish a tree, a house, a bycicle etc. This is because a silhouette has only 2 dimentions. It`s like a shadow on a powerfully lit background. Here, in this case I really can`t distinguish what`s going on from the center of the photo down. Because of the high contrast and many things intersecting I really can`t see if in the left side there`s a branch of a tree or another high contrast cloud, I can`t see where is the level of horizon (if there is any) and I don`t know what is the orange thing in the downside (the sun?) and how it contributes to the overall aesthetics of the photo.

I'm sorry and I don't mean to be out and out rude, But I don't think there's enough qualifications between the two of you to carry my tripod. I'd suggest you both learn to read a persons Bio before to go off on your earth shaking critiques.
