manolin 0 Posted October 16, 2006 Innamoramento is also a matter of luck (to find the right person) and gambling (you have to risk) anyway, great image :) Link to comment
mirkomkb 0 Posted October 16, 2006 eh eh it reminds me something;)http://www.mirkobarone.it/MAN_02.htmNice idea, I would have created the subject simmetric on the diagonal line, not on the horizontal one, but the result is interesting as well. The opening of the dress recalls the sign on the card... finally, interesting the title.Good work ;) Link to comment
hekate 0 Posted October 16, 2006 Thank you for your comments !! :) :) Manuel : You are right about the gambling interpretation. I wouldn't have posted the lyrics (maybe it was not the case), but I was listening that song over and over when I did this image :) However, my intention was to create an ambiguous representation. I am trying to make more subtle images :), I don't know if it's noticeable. Mirko : Of course it reminds you of something :) To be honest, I wanted a diagonal symmetry as well but because of the lower part of the image the hand would have come out of the card and from the shots I took wearing that dress, that one offered the most reasonable possibility of combination. And then I thought it would still be interesting to make something like an unfaithful reflection. When I took the original shots I wasn't planning to make something like a playing card, but when I saw the first picture (the upper part) I just had this vision :) , like I had to do this, like that pic was meant to be on a playing card :) It was fun to work on it. hekate 0 Posted October 19, 2006 Wow, Biliana !!! This is what I like about feedback, people see things I haven't thought about when I made the picture (or things that could have been in my subconscious, in my imaginary, but which I haven't intentionally rendered... ;) ). Sometimes I wonder if somebody else might know me better than I know myself... Meaning is actually a matter of collaboration between sender and receiver... I really love your "old wine colour" interpretation. And it really makes sense when blended with the "Innamoramento" concept, because of the sensation we have when we fall in love ... When we totally lose our head :) Thank you ! ;) Link to comment

drybrain 0 Posted October 23, 2006 i like this one the most of the whole series. deft post-processing, and well chosen palette - burning, risk, and -if you believe Poushkin's "Dame Pique"-madness. and poetry to go with it. well done. Link to comment
