Great photograph. I can feel the chill coming of the screen. I love places like this - and since I'm in Texas, photographs like these sustain me. I'm curious why you went with B&W... I'd be interested to see the color version. Good job! Very nicely done!

Jeff, this is an infra red photo, which converts to b/w, not color. I didn't take one in color of this scene.

Sondra, This is some shot to us flat-landers here in central Indiana.....I'll bet there are lots of snowmobiles out there......Jim

Nice mist and sense of the landscape receding into it. The composition works well but to me the positioning of the buildings forms slightly too strong a focus preventing the eye moving easily round the image. But a fine shot despite that nitpick.
