deborahpeace 0 Posted October 12, 2006 Powerful, intriguing photograph. Could you tell us what happened here? It's a very good composition, great angle, excellent depth. The sky and watching men make a great background and addition to this image. There is really a lot going on in this photo, but it all works together. Very nice. Link to comment

anton_galli 0 Posted October 13, 2006 This photo is so well conceived and executed, it challenges my beliefs that it could be real . . . but it must be! How could this be set up? It reminds me of an El Greco or one of the old masters. The picture works on so many levels, there are so many stories wrapped into one . . . the rearing horse . . . di dhe cause the accident, or is he simply reacting? The clouds reverberate with the violence and reflect the mood . . . its as is the fury of the rearing horse is symbolized by the mood of the sky and it's brilliance whereas the injured horse and it's unconscious state, perhaps it's death are symbolized by the dull earth and dust settling over his body. The men in the background, what marvelous reactions, this Greek chorus to the tragedy in the foreground. Congratulations on a superlative photo. 7/7 doesn't do it justice. . . . Link to comment
wingell 0 Posted October 13, 2006 This is an incredibly powerful image, dynamic but very touching at the same time. All the elements combine beautifully to tell a moving tale. Well done! 7/7 Link to comment
