Groet,Jim

Wonderful photo. Full of mystery and forboding. Dark and brooding yet with great lighting. Very dramatic. Very nice. Cheers

Makes me want to sit down and write a science fiction story-but that's not what I do. Super image. Would make a great cover for a novel.

This is fresh, interesting and beautiful The background colors are perfect and the flesh tones of the figure are excellent. Placement of the figure and the horizon line work well.

Hartstikke bedankt!!!! Thanks!

Simply great!! Really love this. I have a nit pick though; the light coming from the lantern seems to reach the clouds as they are coloured with a yellowish tone, giving the photo a 'flatter look', almost as if she is facing a scenario behind her instead of a real background. Anyhow not enough to prevent me to find this top-notch job once again Bianca. Congrats and greetings, Alex

Bianca, compared to your photo "Devotion" this one does not speak to me. Your skills are still very present, but one wonders, at least I do, what the lady plays of role and how she ended up there with a lamp in her hand wearing half a skirt! The landscape is wonderful with those spectacular clouds, so the photo could maybe even stand alone without feminine animation. Looking forward to see the next in your series that promises well.

Hihi Anders, don't you know the Greek mythology of the halfGodess Sirene who stands on the rocks.... She sings such enchanting, beautiful songs that the fishermen on the sea want to reach her desperately. They all die when their ships crack on the cliffs!!!

I thought you had enough imagination.... :-)..... I'm kidding, you don't have to like it of course, maybe with this new information you understand it a little bit more? Hope so! Thanks for giving your honest opinion, really appreciate it!!!

Thanks Alexandre... :-).... You have a good point, I will look into it and play with it some more..

Again great work! The Idea is very good, the colours and textures are awesome even if the mood it's very ominous for me but it's yr style.

Best Regards

Bianca, I should have guessed that you were inspired by your Homer, but for me one more reason to have offered the lady a dress like the one you have used in Devotion. Let's not forget that despite my difficulty of being transported into Greek ancient history, the photo is indeed very good and dramatic.

Great, very powerful atmosphere, with that apocalyptic sky embracing a wall texture... It seems an open space (the ocean) and a confined environment (like a room ? ) at the same time... Irresistible ambiguity. I love her outfit (if I can say so), she somehow seems dressed and naked at the same time. This is exactly the kind of paradox I like :) Simply a work of Art !!

Lieve groetjes, Ada;-)))

What an incredible piece of work, Bianca! This is truly one of the most beautiful and original pictures that I have ever seen.

I know what sirens are in mythology, but it appears to me that she is wearing the hoops that support an old fashioned dress. Perhaps there is some commentary here on the transparency of ourselves.
