I'm interested in how akin the boots and the tires are in this image. The man's clothes throws me into thinking I'm looking at the depression era. The deft arrangement of lines and grids are perfect, but I'm betting this was a second nature thing for you. It looked right and you took it without needing the kind of analysis of the scene the viewer will go through in working out why they like it so much. This is the kind of image that surfaces in museums and textbooks as an example of the art form.
