I have not yet visited this place, but I own the book "I Never Saw Another Butterfly," and a friend gave me a cookbook that is tied to this horrible place. It's composed of recipes starving women prisoners used to trade, as they dreamt of something to eat. They'd talk of their favorite dishes to try to escape through their imaginations. Someone put it all together as a memorial in a cookbook. This was an extremely deceptive place, where so many artists were sent, and quickly then sent off to their deaths. I don't understand Ruben's comment. I guess he has no idea what happened here, that it was a concentration camp used to fool the Red Cross.
