GREEN RIVER

The gray clouds seem to intensify the colors in this field....

Today in Iowa, we were able to get some shooting in before the rain came.....

This is an interesting landscape that captures the attention with its soft curves and swath of color.

Thank you Michael. There are so many abstracts in the surrounding landscape that I could stop every 50 yards, or so!

It's neat that you included a sliver of such an exciting sky. And I'm glad that you got some shooting in before the rains came. I have to say that I thought Iowa was beautiful when I drove through, but I was mostly in the eastern part of the state, and didn't drive *across* the state. This is a neat shot ... I love the curves!

Thank you Jim, John and Lou Ann. We've been trying to take secondary roads whenever possible, so when we do see something like this we can stop. Yesterday, we often had the road completely to ourselves, except for the tractor trailers filled with corn whizzing past us...

This is wonderful Linda, always stick to the back roads.

We've allowed the time, so why not? It's the way to really see this country...

Ken...so many time we wished we could see it all from a bird's point view...

and I agree with your Linda . The green 'river' swirls out so well & striking against he browns & greys.
