Your two recent bird posts have been remarkable for their detail, color and interesting subject matter. The exposure here is so crisp I can "hear" the splash of water and swoosh of wings.

Thanks Susan for your comments. I was standing on a small jetty when this pelican flew in with several companions. I focussed on this one and just managed to get its full wingspan in the frame. Kind regards, Neil

Thanks indeed for your comments David. I rather liked the unusual underwing colouring and reflection effects when I first opened this image. These pelicans are a magnificent sight flying across the sea and landing so spectacularly. I am fortunate that they are plentiful near where I live. Kind regards, Neil
