If you give me a 3, please give me a comment also.

How 'bout 5? Just kidding!

Shouldn't be a problem to find a home -

both kittens are adorable and you got the "cuteness" factor

very well. See if you can post them also on

http://www.petfinder.com/ - this might speed things up. Good luck!

Hmm, you did get a 3?? Anyway, very nice! The lighting, expression and setup are great. There is a negative for me however, the fuzz on the forehead. Dave D

Always get one or more 3s ;-) I didn't see the fuzz on his forehead until I posted the pictures. Murphy. But the good news is that Jack and James both found new homes right away.

Look for more kitten portraits in the future, there are six more kittens that we need to place.

Thank you all for your comments.

good photo!... it shows the kitten's personality (fragility) and beauty.. the expression says, "please adopt me"....... "we will be cats in another life", (so Penelopy said to Tom Cruise in the movie, Vanilla Sky)....

So, he was sitting on this fleece blanket which is on my friend's shoulder, neck, and head. The kitten is looking up at a toy held just out of camera range. The lighting is from a small softbox on the left, quite close to the kitten, and a umbrella above the camera and to the right, about 4 feet back.

I was hand holding the camera, moving around my friend as she struggled to control the kitten who wanted to jump down or run away.

The expression was spontaneous, and I was lucky enough to capture it. The picture helped the kitten find a new home right away.

Heck, I don't trust myself to give a numerical rating. Lost my cat a couple of months ago and this is beyond cute.

Surely this little kitty got a home after this picture. :)
