A bit stiff, and she doesn't look too comfortable. You have done much better imo. Regards.

Christian, Adolfo, thanks for the kind comments. Marc G this is the first few shots at the studio so Jaslyn is still not relaxed. More coming.

"More coming"... Okay, that explains it... Btw, I just went to your page and saw your face for the first time... Do you know we actually met in Kuala Lumpur, many years ago...? :-)

Thanks for coming guys, been busy processing food images for client at 1 Fullerton. No time to submit images here this weekend.

Marc G., It'll be great to have a couple of drinks with you next time you are around. BTW, where did we meet in KL? Shooting there again later this month.

I think we met twice: "Keat camera" shop, jln Pudu, and in some Miss Malaysia pageant, I believe... I could be wrong, but you'll tell me...

Wonderful light and skin tones dear Alec. Really love how the light and shadows outline the areas around the eye and nose on her right in a subtle manner. You appear to have used two lights. What was the set-up? Very nice my friend. Regards, Kelvin.

Sircar, Sondra, Pulok, thanks for the kind comments. My daughter Jaslyn will be glad too. ^_^

Kelvin, I have been using Broncolor for my previous studio shoot and now got to play with the Prophoto series which Hasselblad Singapore is marketing. This setup we use 2 lights - one soft box and another umbrella tethered to a notebook. The main is a huge 10 ft wrap-around silver umbrella mounted on heavy tripod with a handle for turning it higher or lower. The Prophoto strobe can go up to 3500W at full capacity and can shoot 1/900 at F/11 easily.

Marc G, must be quite long ago since I've been to Keat's camera shop, good prices there and I did cover some beauty contests in KL. Small world.

haha... So I wasn't wrong... I guess it was somewhere between 1990 and 1992... There's a possibility that I met you again much later as well, either in a pageant OR in a PSPJ meeting... but I'm not sure about that...
