This is a revised version. Friends subtly suggested that maybe the

clouds should be a bit more dramatic.

 

I am well aware of how popular tractor pictures are, so please be

patient if you're trying to leave a comment.

Thanks forthe warning, I waited very patiently! I do like the composition and applaud your choice of B&W. For me it is the fortuitious alignment of the tractors and the people at the end that make the photo. Perhaps a touch more contrast in the sky, that is a greater tonal seperation between sky and clouds might heighten the drama there. Well seen and presented. Cheers, Gerhardt

Gerhardt, thanks for your patience. I bent the rules and added a bit more contrast, following your good suggestion.

I hope it did not cheapen your self image too much to lower yourself to our base levels. I could not live with myself knowing I caused such harm to a pure soul. I do like it better though.

Interesting silhouette photo (especially with the two people in it).

Finally I am able to critique the tractors (after hours of waiting). Nice work Doug, the b&w works well and the vast clouds add that rural aspect. Thanks for sharing, Chris

Thank you all for your tenacity and your time. A special thanks to Dave, who made me tell a lie. The sky didn't really have anywhere near this much contrast. But the tractors and people are real.

I feel just terrible corrupting you. I'm gonna reform, I promise. P.S. I have to admit I was sorely tempted to make a joke about your profession, but then I thought I value you to much to piss you off.
