henrimanguy 0 Posted October 3, 2006 La Mazade with the passing days (Continuation)Sunday 23 July, in the evening. It is a bit later than at the time of my first photo of the saturday 15 and the sky is adorned with some clouds which makes the light milder. I had decided to take at least one photo by day but the weather has been so uniformly set fair since one week that it had no interest to do each time the very nearly same photo. It is the first time today that there is a slight change in the atmospheric conditions and I take the photo. I even take two, that I will afterwards stitch with Photoshop. The differences with the first photo are not very great but given the hour a bit later, the colours are warmer. The clouds are making the light milder and the shadows are less marked. I notice today those swallows perched on the electric wires in the foreground. I remember that they did not stop filying in the field of the lens, sometimes rather near, and because I had a quite long exposure time I had to work when there was no one in the field, otherwise this would have (perhaps) cause some dark and blured streaks in the composition. To be continuedLinks with the previous photos. lauro1 0 Posted October 3, 2006 I prefer this one than the other three. That soft mist and the general softness make this picture very beautiful -and magic. Link to comment

henrimanguy 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Thank you Ada. I like it too. And since you are here, can I ask you something ? Can you see the swallows I talk of in my presentation text ? My today screen is a bit dark and I can see them only because I know they are here (on the wires, near the tree in the low part). It is a very minimal detail, but... Link to comment
