Focus is on the waves, so the surfer standing on the beach is slightly blurred.

This is the beach at Westward Ho!, in North Devon in the UK. It's a

favoured place for surfers. The town gets its name from a book by

Victorian author Charles Kingsley.

Comments and critiques are most welcome.

A very nice shot...I like the repeated lines from the waves, the surfer on the near field with the reflection...(suggestions: a bit more space below not to cut the reflection, +horizon->tal)...a very refreshing photo.

I like the lines and the vast feeling of this. Your center surfer is a strong element, and i wonder if he might have been placed slightly better just a little up in the frame to catch the rest of his reflection without cutting it off at the bottom. Good composition, looks pretty cold :o)

Hi Peter.

I like this one although it appears too cold and choppy for a great surfing experience. As a participant that is....

I like the lines in the foreground, which, opposed to those in the background, seem to draw away and not parallelly to the coastal line. But I also like how the lines separate different tones of colour.
