Wonderful composition.

This is an interesting juxtaposition, puzzling photo. I guess that the lady (?) at the end of the lane waited for you to photograph, and was not aware of her role in the play here. The silhouette makes the shot, great capture

The position of two "ladies", one being there when I came by, the

other came passed after some waiting, makes in my eyes the interest

of this photo from the streets of Venice. What do you think ?

Very nice shot. I like too mucht he vertical composition of the narrow alley but that fashion designer doll is a plus, it turned the image and added a lot of visual value to it. Great image.

Hi Anders, What I like very much in this one and caught my eye the first moment I saw it, is the yellow color connection of the "model" in the FG. and the light at the far BG. and the figure near it, these 3 ellements gave a lined context and connection to the whole and an interesting color melange, all the browns and yellows, with some colder blues. As a composition it is interesting as there is the " down" life activitiy hinted ( by the model and woman) and the tall alley buildings full with windows (with another yellow wall on the right) that hints of life in that nearly deserted place.I think you did very well with exposure here because of the source of light. So to sum it up ,well composed and observed the scene Anders.

Pnina I agree on your highlighting of the important role of the recall of the yellow for the quality of the scene. When I took the photo I saw the color recalls across the strette but I did not notice the samme color of light of the end of the street, but are of course right. Thanks for you comments.
