dusty2004 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Hello Melissa. Nicely lit, and you have kept it simple as the title implies. This is often the best approach to achieving good results. As you have. I would have liked to see a little bit more space around the flower to give it a little breathing space. Placing your subject right in the middle create a static image. Experiment by moving it a little from the centre it will create a more dynamic image. Cheers. Link to comment
dimitris1 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Lovely shot! Actually I dissagree with Roy, this is a single subject filling the frame, so no point for rule of thirds. An even tighter framing could be tried, but this is only my opinion. Nevertheless a very good picture with good light, texture and tonalities. 6/6 Link to comment
