Hi Allison - B&W is not the usual for the 'flower genre', but I think you did a great job here. I'am a big monochrome sucker ....... those patterns on the leaves just does it!

You picked the perfect "botanical" composition to use black and white, as this image would suffer if done in color. The textures, shapes and contrasts lend themselves perfectly to monochrome, and all of that would have been lost if distracted by the "greeness" of the image. Nice choice Allison!

Excellent black and white image! I really like the tones and contrasts, and the repetition in this. Nicely composed too. Kinda wish your signature wasn't there, but I understand. Well seen! Cheers! Chris
