bosshogg 4 Posted September 27, 2006 I think this is a fairly good photo, but I find myself feeling like the bottom half is too heavy and dark and massive. I try really hard not to be hindered by the hobgoblins of convention, but that split right down the middle (almost) with dark at the bottom and lighter at the top is less than ideal to me. I'd take about 15 percent of the picture away from the bottom, and I don't think it would hurt the overall aesthetics. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted September 27, 2006 I actaully love the perspective here; it's a different and interesting view on a familiar subject. Link to comment
sawicki 0 Posted September 28, 2006 Beautiful work. The old fence, some lovely light and this piece of blue and the old old plant surrounding it. Very aesthetical work beautifuly composed. Link to comment

juanra 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Una gran imagen, aunque el degradado de la pared no termina de gustarme. Saludos Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted October 5, 2006 Jana, as said above the composition does divide into two but that makes the composition interesting to me. The twisted branches hold the two parts together with the close lower part and further away upper part both seeking attention. Link to comment
