andreas fischer 0 Posted September 27, 2006 Why ths Title ? This picture shows the Old "Elbtunnel" in Hamburg Germany. Its a Tunnel wich leads from one side of the River "Elbe" to the other side. This Tunnel has 2 Tubes, BUT the tubes have about 6 meters distance between ech other, so its impossible to look straight into both tubes at once. During one of my workshops, the question was asked how it would be possible to create a picture , "looking into both tubes at once"... this is my way to realize this. If u look carefully u may see how i have done it. Critiques and ratings are always welcome. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted September 27, 2006 Clever PS handling, you've gotta very good result. Well done. But, just a question, both arrows are pointing to the same way, souldn't be each one to the opposite way than the other? Link to comment
andreas fischer 0 Posted September 27, 2006 normaly there would be just one arrow...at the other side there would be a sign wich says "no entry", but i wanted it that way, 2 arrows into the same direction...u cant see it in this small version, but they even have a new text ;-)the other smal signs lead all pedestrians into the green door, the clock is strange and so on ...i didnt wanted it too real...one reason why i made it so symetric and left even the marks at the wall Link to comment
peter_mc_grath 0 Posted September 27, 2006 Thispicture is too prefect and on a closer examination I have found to many things that mirror each other. Like the stain in front of the seat. Also there are marks on the ground and on the green box that match together. In all the shot is good but trying to deceive the viewer is not the way to Go. I have reversed the process and was able to match them perfectly. I think this is the original picture. It was of a single tunnel. Nice try. Good work. Link to comment
andreas fischer 0 Posted September 27, 2006 Peter...just read above and have a look at the title anyway...in one thing u are wrong... the other side is the original ;-) Link to comment
