Shot from the inside of a capsule on the London Eye

Hello how did you manage this through the glass? Circular polariser? I did not succeed. Been there in July 2000 when it was new.

This was taken with a Pentax OPTIO 430RS compact camera I.E NO FILTER (& Obviously without using flash) - The secret is to get close to the (hopefully clean) glass and ensure no reflections of other passengers are visible - you also need the Sun to be in the right direction and and not too bright !
