donnaalbers 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Thanks for all your kind comments. . . Kim, I'm not sure about a calendar but I do think I'll print up some note cards. .I've just joined two camera clubs recently hoping that it will propel me into printing some of my work. . I've been too lazy to print and have been relying soley on digital imaging. . . I've been working on a butterfly project in the Park and it seems to have taken on a life of its own. . . Yes, Jim, I did turn it upside down. . Link to comment
sawicki 0 Posted September 24, 2006 Beautiful work. The colours match perfectly - different tones of yellow. Great composition and shapes. So simple. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted September 24, 2006 Hi Donna, Long time... Very nice diagonal suspention, I like the shallow dof that leaves all the show to the main subject.Good sharpness details and light. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted September 24, 2006 The lines in this image are really beautiful. Your choice of background color is right on. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted September 26, 2006 Hi, Donna did you paint this? Its beautiful how it hangs onto the suspended branch of flowers. Looks so smooth & carefree. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted September 26, 2006 Cheryln, thank you for your comment. I don't think that I would be a photographer if I could paint. . . I did make an adjustment to the background color using PS. Link to comment

jmcconnell2 0 Posted October 13, 2006 Oh Yeah!!! Beautiful composition, original and SO artistic. This is as good or better than the best I have ever seen. I hope you have printed this large,(11x14) or larger, and it is now hanging on your wall. IMO, this would find a ready market. Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Note cards are exactly what came to my mind - opening your home page with the 3 thumbnails ...... Your work would sell - no sweat. Make it happen - you're Very Good. Link to comment
lbattjes 0 Posted October 21, 2006 Bet this would be beautiful on canvas as well...a friend just referred me to WinkFlash...has anyone else heard of it? It's an online printshop that allows for all sorts of sizing options (including non-traditional) and they even do canvas work. I'm thinking about giving them a try. Leslie Link to comment
jana 1 Posted November 12, 2006 Donna, Your butterflies are fantastic, Perfect colours , composition and great DOF. Love them all. cheers Jana Link to comment
lucyhollis 2 Posted May 6, 2007 Great simplicity- The flower spike adds a nice line through the composition, but doesn' compete with the monarch either. Link to comment
