I have been a sea kayaker for over about 15 years but have only recently started taking cameras with me. I have a waterproof pelican case on my deck but even the slightest movement can make the boat a bit tipsy. This was this first time I had been paddling amongst ice and it was an incredible experience. I plan to post more images in the next few weeks as I go through them.

Oh, I am so sorry for you, Dave. Actually, I'm jealous of you. I can't wait to get out of here ... I'm exhausted living here. But it will be a few more years until that happens. Was this a trip to Alaska, or do you live there now?

Actually, I live in the other Washington (Olympia) and the trip to Alaska was for fun. But I am ready to go back to Alaska any time...
