ada-ipenburg 0 Posted September 23, 2006 This is my first theatre shot taken from a large distance. The circumstances concerns lightning where pretty bad. So I'm very interested to hear your opinion about the result of my attempt to make a nice portrait. What concerns the girl; I know nothing else about her than that she is an 14 year old student piano player. She competed in a piano contest and I was attracted by her angelic radiation. Here she was listening to the review of the jury. I appreciate your constructive comments. Thank you very much, Ada. Link to comment

Jebamony 3 Posted September 23, 2006 You have captured her angelic radiation beautifully. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Ada, this portrait is convincing because of the expression you captured. The half smile and the eyes reveal her sweet nature. Besides, what I love in it, is that she was not aware you were shooting her and this intensifies the spontaneity of her expression and her beauty. Link to comment

ada-ipenburg 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Thank you all, Lannie, Julius, Paula, Pnina and Tony, for your appreciation. I was in doubt about the result because it's like there is a haze over the picture which I can not take away without loosing the softness which dominates the portrait. If any one of you think that it's possible to make it more clear without ruin the soft mood I'm open for your suggestions and advice. Thanks again everybody for your kind comments. Warm greetings, Ada:~) Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted September 23, 2006 Ada, I just downloaded it and added Unsharp Mask at 15 (no more). In my opinion, this is just enough to get the effect you want without having it look a bit too soft--and without oversharpening. Either way, it is truly well done. Congratulations. --Lannie Link to comment

ada-ipenburg 0 Posted September 28, 2006 Lannie thanks again for helping me thinking, very kind of you!:-) Julio, thanks you so much for your kind comment. Hi Jan, nice to see that you are back again. I thought that your holiday started to be endless;-) Thank you very much for your kind comment to the portrait and for your compliment concerns my biopic. Because of my poor English I had to follow your link and than I found out what you meant, you joker!:)))) I'm glad to hear that in Sweden the pronounciation of my name is just similar to the Dutch. Perhaps you will say: 'what's in a name', but to me as a genealogist a name means very much to me as well as the pronounciation of it. I was pretty amazed and a bit shocked when I discovered how the English speaking pronounce my name. It sounds so weak in their language while in Dutch it has a much more powerful radiation and power fits much more to my personality because I'm not such a softy. Hahaha;0))) Many greetings to all of you, Ada:-) Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Very nice portrait. Just a girl ? If I could meet her she would not be just a girl for me. She has the type of face that makes me fall in love. Link to comment

krzysztof_hamerla 0 Posted October 5, 2006 This is that kind of face that It seems to say: " I'm dreaming of you, my Prince" and some day my mouth will be yours and neverending kisses will be a candy gift for your protection and men's arms. GReetings, Chris Link to comment
