carlosquandt 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Woderful moment Huy In my opinion you have to reduce the flash reflections. I know this frog is a good model and may be you can try to shoot without artificial light Anyway is a impressive work Regards Link to comment

bob bennett 0 Posted September 23, 2006 This is almost a macro with very deep depth of field. I would love to know how you shot it. Great work. Peace, Bob Link to comment
tranhuy 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Thank you everyone.Cherlyn, I just happen to have some friends who have them, these are their pets :).Bob, here are the tech. info:Shooting Mode: Manual Exposure / Tv( Shutter Speed): 1/5 / Av( Aperture Value): 32.0 / Metering Mode: Evaluative Metering / ISO Speed: 100 / Lens: 100.0 mm / Focal Length: 100.0 mm / Image Quality: RAW / Flash: Off / Manual Focus. And of course tripod, a macro slider and a Remote Switch. Basically, there's no special technique, just use the slower shutter speed and get a bit of luck (with the frog not moving - I got lots of unusable shots due to the frog was moving). I got the background blur (kinda nonsense @f. 32) by using my finger and tapping on the water to create the tiny waves and that would create the blur at a slow shutter speed (just like photo of waterfalls/moving water). Hope this answers your question. Link to comment
