alecee 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Thanks guys, Spencer, more then 70% of the locals use the thanaka cream(mashed tree bark) as an extract for their face. It is supposed to be a good prevention against skin disorder. Apparently it works well as I don't see many teenagers there with bad skin condition. It is quite common for the mothers to decorate their child with leaf details. This practice is prevalent in Myanmar but not so common in neighboring Cambodia or Thailand. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted September 21, 2006 I like the contrast in their expressions. I wouldn't mind Alec seeing a separate shot though of the child alone too. Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Thank you Alec for your reply and it's really interesting to learn. Maybe should bring in this product to market it. :0)) Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted September 21, 2006 I like your image and the child, but not the expression on the Mother's face :-) Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted September 22, 2006 Spencer the beige color may be too striking to market as a face cream? Cherlyn appreciate your kind comments. Amal, Amar, I do have separate shots of her daughter. Yes the mother does look quite serious here, I guess the hard life takes it's toll. Welcome to the real world. Link to comment
