Wonderful composition and colours.Perhaps the bright spots are a little bit overexposed,IMO.

Thanks guys, Spencer, more then 70% of the locals use the thanaka cream(mashed tree bark) as an extract for their face. It is supposed to be a good prevention against skin disorder. Apparently it works well as I don't see many teenagers there with bad skin condition. It is quite common for the mothers to decorate their child with leaf details.

 

This practice is prevalent in Myanmar but not so common in neighboring Cambodia or Thailand.

I like the contrast in their expressions. I wouldn't mind Alec seeing a separate shot though of the child alone too.

Amal, Amar, I do have separate shots of her daughter. Yes the mother does look quite serious here, I guess the hard life takes it's toll. Welcome to the real world.
