from the last live concert in Raanana, Israel.

It's good to have you back, Mark! One of my old heroes, and you have caught his intense look in a perfect way. I also like the way he leans, and the contrast between the bright colours and the background. My only small criticism is that the light is a bit hard.

Hello! It's nice to see You here!...It was a hard time, those two months, but soon I will come back with more concert images (hopefully). Indeed, there is something true about the light. I shot this concert from the 16th row with my cheap tele lens, at its longest position, so the quality is mostly from PS and not from the original shooting... on the other hand You - different monitors = different contrasts.

The concert was outstanding,....like everything that Ian Anderson make.

I like this shot better than II. One of my all time favorites! I never miss a show here in upstate New York! You've captured him perfectly. And as we all know..."Nothing is Easy".:)Marty

What I meant was that it seems like the stage light was a bit hard. I think everything else about the picture is very good. And I was one of Ian A's greatest fans in 70-72, copying much of his work on my flute! I've only seen him live once, would love to see him again.

So...we share this feeling! :) As for me - Ian Anderson is a one of the greatest musical artists I ever heard.. Truly. There is no nedd to tell that I have all of his solo and Jethro Tull releases,...and , sorry, but I've been much more lucky then You - it was the third time I've seen him onstage! Hope not the last one....:))))

This is a great shot, Mark, very clear and colorful. I like your whole folder from the show.

 

I had a feeling you guys might be Tull fans, based on your comments on my I/A pictures! My older sister gave me Stand Up for Christmas back in 1970, and that's when I got hooked. I have all of the albums too, just like you, and I've seen them in concert many times. Maybe I'll see you and Per at a show someday.
