Coho 2 Posted September 19, 2006 this summer in south central Alaska has been one of the wettest on record. In one week in September, I saw the sun for 1 full day. And the mosquitos were bigger than the grizzly bears... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 19, 2006 There's a weird halo around the mountains. It doesn't look as though the clouds are there naturally. Nice composition though - I'm just substantially bugged by that halo. Link to comment
Coho 2 Posted September 19, 2006 Kathy, thanks. Yeah, that bugged me too but it was there. So do I clone in more clouds or leave it? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 19, 2006 David - I'd do something with it. You'd only need to do a few spots to get something more "real"... funny how stuff like that happens though, isn't it? Fake things look real all the time, but sometimes conditions totally real look fake Looks like you had a nice trip despite the weather! Alaska is on my travel list... one of these days! Coho 2 Posted September 19, 2006 Agree! I just got back Saturday and this is the first go round thru my images. Was my first time in Alaska and I will go back. Looks like you like clouds also though I don't know how you find them in Colorado. I lived in Boulder, 1967-1979. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 20, 2006 maybe it's Global Warming Plenty of clouds around here -- though not usually in the morning. Come afternoon you're usually hard pressed to avoid them. Pleases me fine :) Link to comment
