nice shot John, a little murky though. do you have any Audi A10 shots? Hope to see it run in Atlanta at the Petite Le Mans coming up. J.K.

Yes, have a look in my portfolio for other ALMS Series cars. I will be posting the Audi TDI shots in the critique forum within a couple of days.

It may be murky but I was going for dramatic. Sort of like an evening shot in midday. I'll post more eventually.

I think this is a terrific and interesting shot. I like auto racing but have seldom found still photos that can capture the moment appropriately. For me, this is one of the exceptions. I think it must be the head on angle. I love the colors and the reflection of the headlights off the pavement. The only problem, and it's particularly distracting to me, is the direct glare of the headlights themselves...and I don't know what can be done about it. I'm anxious to go look at your portfolio.

Good job...thanks for sharing

Oh, it just occurred to me that the headlight glare is probably so bright because you were probably positioned right on line with where they were aimed. If that's the case then the glare might have been reduced some if you were more off line??? Or filter out the glare with some crafty photo-editing?

Also, I recommend people look at the larger scale version

This is an exceptional picture. I imagine something like this (I mean in the light conditions and speed, art and expertise apart) couldn`t be achieved with a Canon 400 5.6 plus an 1,4 extender.
