pjmeade 12 Posted September 18, 2006 Hello, almost everything about this shot came out wrong, other than the dynamics of the sport. I've tried to rescue something from the shot. What do you think, any good or waste of time? I would also be interested to know how others would have tackled the image. Thanks. Pete Link to comment
fleetwheels 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Like the symmetry of the lances! Good timing Peter. Link to comment
aral 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Intro: I am no expert, so this is an opinion by an ignorant. Too much space on the left, too little on the right? Perhaps the lances should be center-weighted? I like the parallel lines. Link to comment

laurent_jaussi 0 Posted September 20, 2006 a very nice photo...I also like the parallels...black vs white horse...centering and space right/left is OK for me...the parallels and symmetry elements (3 horses, one in the middle) make it for a balanced composition....the sky is so so...but who can change the sky (better original than artificial) ) Link to comment
jeverz 0 Posted October 29, 2006 Very nice action photo Peter! (Thanks for your comment, Greetings from Holland.) Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted December 14, 2006 I can see why this took the judges eye. The rhythm generated by the repeated pose of the riders and lances gives a good sense of movement - almost like a movie effect. The spacing of the horses and the frame look fine to me and to me help express the motion. Congratulations! Link to comment
maijaathena 6 Posted June 8, 2008 I think it's great. I love the grouping of 3 horses. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
