noemi_farkas 0 Posted December 30, 2001 this is a lovely image. The gentle light amongst the darkness mimics a womblike environment, picking up on the subject's pregnant womb. Link to comment
paul_van_buren 0 Posted December 30, 2001 This may having a womb-like feeling but to me it conveys loneliness or shame. The woman appears to be secluded from anything else, almost lost in her feeling that she is uniquely alone in her experience. I find it to be a powerful photo. Link to comment
saybian.tv 0 Posted January 1, 2002 Exelent lighting, for once the stomach is not the focus in the art of pregnancy photography. The composition sugest a woman alone in a vast world with her child to be. Many a couple would apreaciate this on there wall. Link to comment

jillmyers 0 Posted January 11, 2002 Awesome image. One of my favorites from your portfolio. There is definitely a sense of fear or loneliness here. I love the overall brownish tone and perfectly subtle lighting. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted January 11, 2002 Babatunde, very well done. Love the lighting and grain, the position of the woman and the different feelings this can pull from one's imagination. If a photo is to tell a story, this one does! Link to comment
dodi 0 Posted June 2, 2002 Great as usual. Like this kind of photography. Here's one I took at a rave last year to join in your series. Now for some cool D&B track as background... Link to comment
randy_samos 0 Posted June 14, 2002 I really like this shot. I have to agree with other posters in that it conveys a sense of isolation for this woman and her child to be. The lighting, grain, tone ... all of it add up to making a pretty powerful image for me. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted August 18, 2002 Wonderful inspirational lighting here... My only minor regret is this kind of strange "grain" all over the image - it actually looks like an imperfect scan to me...In addition to the above, I also wanted to suggest a possibility - of course, it's by no means a must... I somehow believe that this image could work very well too if you blurred it all... Yes, all...I've seen similar images all blurred in The Image Bank catalogs a few times, and they are surprisingly powerful... Gaussian Blur 3 to 5 all over the frame - simple and quite interesting.I like it as it is too, obviously - just to throw in a new idea... Congrats anyway. Link to comment
